One thing to think about for a donation is to have a birthday fundraiser.  Instead of gifts have people make a donation to your fundraiser that supports BRAS.

You can also Think about gift cards from places such as Petco, PetSmart, or Walmart.  Some things are heavy and cost too much in shipping cost.  A gift card can be more efficient for purchasing things like bleach and detergent.
